How to prepare Homemade Ginger Garlic Paste

Ginger Garlic Paste is one of the most frequently used ingredient for most of the spicy food prepared in India. Ginger + Garlic blended together, gives you the Ginger Garlic Paste. Sounds easy right? Yes, it is very easy to prepare this paste. In most of the Indian houses, they prepare this paste at home so that they can use it in their food preparation. However, we get this paste in Indian stores too. But, when you can prepare it by yourself why to waste money on this?

Ingredients:

500 g of Ginger
500 g of Garlic
1 tbsp of Olive Oil

The Ginger and Garlic amount can vary depending on how much paste you want to prepare. The point is keep them both in equal quantities.

Method:

Peal the Garlic and scrape the Ginger and cut them into small pieces.

In a blender add these pieces and olive oil and grind them to a smooth paste.
Store it in an airtight container and keep in the fridge.
This paste can be used for 2 to 3 months.
