Add the cashews and fry them till light brown.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ENow add the chopped onions, salt and saute them till they are light brown.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ENow add the  green chilies, tomatoes and mix well. cook till the tomatoes are mashed.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAllow the mixture to cool. Grind it to a thick puree with adding very little water.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIn the same pan, add the puree and 1\/4 cup of water. Actually, whenever I hear the word Spaghetti I automatically think of meat balls. Assuming that the recipe would taste awesome, I wanted to make a vegetarian version of it. I do remember Cham of Spiceclub making Spaghetti and Soy balls sometime before. The thing is, my husband is not a great fan of soy products. I am really amazed at myself for trying out stuff. I am a lazy person for whom cooking was a chore. But now, I am inspired by so many to try out different varieties of food.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ELet me give you the recipe,\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cspan class=\"fullpost\"\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003EIngredients:\u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E1 cup spaghetti\u003Cbr \/\u003E1 cup of vegetables, fine chopped (carrots,beans,cabbage,celery etc)\u003Cbr \/\u003E1 cup boiled rice OR 1 egg\u003Cbr \/\u003E3 tbsp chili paste\u003Cbr \/\u003E3 chopped green chillies\u003Cbr \/\u003E1 tbspn chopped garlic\u003Cbr \/\u003E1 tsp cumin seeds\u003Cbr \/\u003E3 tbsp corn flour\u003Cbr \/\u003E1 large ginger, finely chopped\u003Cbr \/\u003EOil to fry\u003Cbr \/\u003E1 medium onion\u003Cbr \/\u003E2 tsp pepper powder\u003Cbr \/\u003ESalt to taste\u003Cbr \/\u003E4 tbsp soy sauce\u003Cbr \/\u003E1 tsp sugar\u003Cbr \/\u003E1\/2 cup spring onions\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003EMethod:\u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAdd little water and steam the finely chopped minced vegetables in a pan. Steam it for 2 min and drain the vegetables by squeezing and store the water for making the sauce. This water is like vegetable stock so do not throw them away.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIn a bowl add the cooked vegetables, salt, few chopped green chillies,pepper powder,ginger,soy sauce,chili paste,corn flour and mix well.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ENow you can either use egg or 1 cup of boiled rice to this mixture to make small dumplings.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIn a pan, heat the oil and deep fry these dumplings.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003ENote:\u003C\/span\u003E If the dumpling breaks, add some more boiled rice to the mixture.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003ETo make sauce:\u003C\/span\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIn a pan, add oil. Add cumin seeds, chopped garlic and ginger.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAdd onion and saute them.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAdd green chili, pepper powder, soy sauce, a pinch of sugar and chili sauce.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAdd the vegetable stock, required amount of salt.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ELet it come to a boil.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ENow, add the vegetable dumplings and coat them with this sauce.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EMeanwhile cook the spaghetti as per the instruction. Then add onions and saute them.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAdd tomatoes,and all the other vegetables including corn and cook with little water.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAdd salt and pepper.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAfter say 3min, add the chilli sauce and some more water to the mixture and cook in Sim flame for 5 min.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EAll the vegetables would have absorbed the flavour and now it is time to mix the cooked pasta.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003ESwitch of the stove and mix the cooked pasta with this mixture.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: bold;\"\u003EYou can serve at this point\u003C\/span\u003E if you do not want to add eggs. Add 1 cup of water and cook this mixture in a Sim flame for 10 minutes. Finally add pepper powder and mix.\u003Cbr \/\u003EIf the mixture becomes dry add some water to it and cook.\u003Cbr \/\u003ENow in a bowl, mix the cooked pasta and this tomato mixture.
